Hi, I’m Ludwig Wright, an Anglo-German musician and songwriter. My true passion lies in playing concerts and in captivating my audience with sing-along melodies while putting Rock ’n’ Roll into Folk. I love to travel, play about 50 concerts a year and I enjoy every one of them – but I could be playing more.

Anglo-German songwriter Ludwig Wright is a curator of good times. With sing-along melodies he crafts a captivating atmosphere while putting Rock ’n’ Roll into Folk. Musically the energetic sum of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan he combines a charming stage presence with a strong, clear voice. He effortlessly mixes musical styles and as a seasoned performer, has played street shows all around Europe and over 300 concerts besides having performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and Rudolstadt Festival.
Ludwig Wright, who after living in England for several years now resides in Berlin and has a British father and a Bavarian mother, found his way to music with the movie “The Blues Brothers”. The performances, the songs, the energy – he soaked it all up and knew he wanted to be a musician.
Ludwig Wright has released three albums: “HOPE” (2018), “LOVE” (2020) and “Turn of Tides or Where the Waves Come From” (2023). Latter received four stars from RnR Magazine, was called a “colourful kaleidoscope of earwormy song pearls” by Schall Magazin and was shortlisted by the German Record Critics’ Award. Additionally, Ludwig Wright co-wrote a song for the fourth German cinematic adaption of the novel “The Flying Classroom”. Currently he is working on his fourth album, which will come out in early summer 2026.

Fee
These are my fee standards and what I usually take for bookings in 2026.
For up to one hour of playing 485 €, up to two hours 600 €, up to three hours 715 €, every extra hour 170 €.
Additionally if I bring a big PA system (necessary for more than 80 people) 170 €, small PA system 85 € or an amp (ceremonies or events where I do not a stomp box) 21 €. For travel costs I usually calculate 30 cts per kilometer (calculated from where I live: Goethestr. 45, 13086 Berlin) and if further than two hours away from Berlin an overnight stay or buy-out for 75 €.
